Bursaries

We explicitly center QT2S/ BIPOC (Queer, Trans, Two Spirit / Black, Indigenous, People of Color) in our curriculum, classes, and community work as a means of equity-building and dismantling capitalism. Our scholarship funds are allocated to the applicants who do not have the resources to participate otherwise and to those who face multiple intersections of oppression under white supremacy.

As a small organization that is not a non-profit and with low bandwidth for grant proposals, we appreciate your understanding as we can only offer a limited number of Full, Half, or Partial scholarships for any programming through this platform. Scholarships are only available for class time and not required materials.

If you feel the need for financial support, please consider where you fall on “The Green Bottle” sliding scale below. Introduced by Britt Hawthorne for EmbracingEquity.org - Ancestral Arts encourages aid applicants to self-identify their need with this helpful tool. If you would like to learn more about this approach, consider clicking the image which will bring you to the EmbracingEquity.org Green Bottle information page.
