Coursework is designed to be available to virtual-only students - so no curriculum based information will be missed if you are unable to join in person!

Local to California or not, all students are invited to part-take in live programming.
Students from out-of-state have travelled in town for our Spring retreat and Fall overnights.

Los Angeles Sprouts: Our in-person programming will be limited to Nor Cal for 2024, but all are invited to attend RAD activations at no additional charge. If you are interested in attending a retreat and are registered as a Virtual Only student, additional fees apply. See Program Guide.

Our Pedagogy

This program is a curriculum-oriented second step towards cultivating a professional clinical herbalist practice. Beginning with the Spirit Herbalism seminar series, we lay a foundation for advanced study grounded in the mind-body-spirit connection.

Content introduces advanced pathophysiology, higher level ailment applications, advanced medicine making technicques, and tools for applied formulation. Develop a protocol for each body system’s case study and your approach with an instructor led cohort review.

Described as rigorous when peak engaged, class time includes lecture, discussion, guided plant-based discovery exercises, and a medicine making demo video series. Supporting experiential, project-based learning, our students have the opportunity to embody plant spirit practices and reciprocal principles that demystify inner earth-based balance.
